Recipe Of Gond Ke Laddu
Ingredients
Edible Gum Ladoo125 Grams
Wheat Flour- 500 Gram
Powdered Jaggery- 500 Grams, depending on how sweet you like it.
Ghee- 500 Grams
Grated Coconut- 500 Grams
Dry fruits — 500 Grams
Chironji- 50 tbsp(optional)
Khuskhus / Poppy seeds — 50 Grams
Elaichi / Cardamom — 50
Recipe
- Heat some ghee in a pan. Make sure it doesn’t get too hot, or the gond will taste bad.
- Fry gond over medium heat, stirring it well all the time. When it gets big, turn off the gas. Put it in a pan and use a rolling pin to break it up.
- Now put some ghee in a pot with a heavy bottom and let it warm up. Stir in the flour and keep doing so until the mixture turns a deep golden colour.
- Put it on a different plate. Let the mixture get a little bit cooler.
- Mix together the jaggery, grated coconut, dry fruit powder, cardamom powder, and chironji.
- While the mixture is still hot, put a drop or two of ghee on your hands and roll it into round balls.
- If the mixture is too dry, warm up some ghee and mix it in well.
- Put it in a jar that can’t leak air.
